The Oasis State...

Dear Loved Ones,

I arrived safely in Minnesota last week. All travel went wonderfully and I am currently trying to get settled in to my new mission ground. It is interesting, because although I am actually from Minnesota, I do not really feel as though I am "returning". Rather, there is more of an awareness that this is the next mission location. Something new. Along that same wave, I was actually sent out from Costa Rica to be a missionary to the Twin Cities, funny how that works. Although I have only been back a few days, I am looking forward to seeing how things come together and stepping forward in faith and obedience in what I have been called to. Faith doesn't only exist overseas, and although the needs are different in The U.S., there is much work to be done. I am planning to meet with the director of YWAM, MN and talk with him more in depth on what the inner-city ministry is going to look like. There are many people I would love to catch up with, and it has been wonderful seeing friends and family after such a long amount of time away. I am expecting to be somewhat busy and hoping to meet up with many people I still have yet to see. Also, please feel free to be proactive in contacting me if you would like to get together.
